The context
The same Neta, now on the street
Autostar had already photographed the Neta U and the Neta V in studio for the brand's launch in Costa Rica. The next step was to show those same vehicles in their real environment: the streets, parks and buildings their first owners were going to drive past every day.
Ciudad Click handled this second session, this time outdoors, shooting across different points in San José with both versions of the Neta.
Around the capital
Architecture from another era
We started in front of one of the Victorian-style mansions still standing in downtown San José, with the Neta U parked as if it were just another day in the neighborhood.
A park with history
Parque Bolívar as the set
At the Parque Bolívar gate we set up another shot, this time with the driver in the frame: the door open, one foot outside, the feeling that the car had just pulled up.
The other model
The Neta V, heading out of downtown
The Neta V got its own shot, on a tree-lined road inside the city. With the afternoon light filtering through the trees, the car looks just as at home there as it does on any downtown avenue.
A different kind of light
From street light to a parking garage
Not every shot happened outdoors. In a downtown underground parking garage we tested a completely different light: a building's artificial lighting, much harder and more direct than the afternoon sun.
The goal was the same as in the studio photos: show that the Neta's design holds up under any light condition, not just on a controlled set.
Beyond the photo
One account, several formats
This outdoor session was one piece of the broader work Ciudad Click did for Autostar: along with the studio session, it also included audiovisual pieces, promotional landing pages for their website, radio spots and event coverage for the client.
Impact
Results you can see
Neta U and Neta V in their real environment
Both versions photographed at different points in San José, showing how they look outside the controlled set.
Several locations, one session
A period mansion, a historic park, a tree-lined road and an underground parking garage, all in a single route across the city.
Continuity with the studio session
Same art direction as the studio photos, now extended to the real environment where the vehicle is driven.
One campaign, several formats
The photography joined video, web, radio and event coverage for Autostar's launch.
Conclusion
A vehicle is better understood in its own environment
Studio photos show the Neta's design with precision; street photos show what that design actually looks like in San José. This outdoor session completed the visual material Autostar needed to introduce the Neta U and Neta V in Costa Rica.
Together with the studio session, this series is part of the same broader job Ciudad Click did for Autostar: photography, video, web, radio and event coverage.
